Optimizing Your Computer?

Hi,

Besides being in Affiliate/Relationship Marketing, I also run a small Computer Repair Business
out of my home.

Today I hear many people wanting to “Optimize their Computer”. I thought most of the tools came
with the Operating System installed on your computer. Maybe Microsoft has hidden them well.

Since I do like working on computers I experiment with software to find which one works well
for me and also so I am able to recommend products to my customers that I know work well.

I have been dealing with a software company called Ashampoo.  They have some very good
products.

One product that I recommend if you really want to Optimize your PC for a reasonable price is their product
called WinOptimizer 2016.

If you want a product that does Everything, This is it! I can not explain everything that this product does,
it would take a very long time.

Here are the Highlights of WinOptimizer 2016:

Many new Tweaking Tool options
Internet Cleaner
More comprehensive Registry Optimizer
More effective Drive Cleaner
Improved One-Click Optimizer
Favorites Tab
Context Menu Manager
AntiSpy module
Predictive disk defragmenter

Here are a couple of screenshots for you to view:

Yes it truly works very well.

Oh! I almost forgot to tell you the price!

It is FREE! Yep all you have to do is download the software enter your you email address to receive a
Product Key and it is yours!

They also changed the name to WinOptimzer Free!

Here is the link for more information!!

What do I do When a Popup Box on my Computer tells me my Computer needs to be Optimized???..

Hi,

What do I do when a Popup Box tells me my computer needs to be Optimized or has a Virus?
I read it and then I close it right away. If it comes back I double check it and then I run
a Scan on my computer with Windows Defender or the installed Anti-Virus I have installed.

I have had a few people calling me telling me about this and then some of them call the
number and pay all kinds of money to get a computer fixed that is not broken.

Most of the tools to optimize your computer are already installed with your Operating System.
Some of them can be set to run and do the maintenance needed when you are not using the computer.
If you have questions ask a friend or find someone you know to help you to set this up or explain
it to you.

If you want the truth told I hate Popups or Windows that slide across your screen.

If you are having a problem with your computer. GOOGLE IT!!! I am serious.

I don’t like to see people pay large sums of money or SCAMMED out of their money
it’s Wrong!

If you do have a problem with your computer and you are not very knowledgeable
about them. Ask a friend they may know someone who is reputable and can help fix
your problem.

Hope everyone had a Wonderful Wednesday!!

Just a Thought …Where has Technology Taken Us?

Hey Everyone,

Hope you all are having a Terrific Tuesday!

I thought that a break from giving info on Blogs might be a good idea.

I was just speaking with my daughter today about “Where Technology has taken us today?

Seems I remember watching TV and as a kid you could see what the imagination could do.

Many of these things would never become reality!!!

I remember a car called “Kit” on a show called Knight Rider. She could talk driver herself
and a number of different things. Well most of our cars talk to us and understand us, they
give us directions and some of them even stop before we crash into something!

Robots.. on “Lost in Space” how about the Jetsons?
Well we have robots that vacuum the house program it once and it does it’s thing.
They also have robots mowing the lawn. So much for our riding lawn mower.

When the first cell phones came out, the flip phones, I thought they resembled the
“Communicators” that Captain Kirk and the rest of the crew used on the Starship Enterprise?
I don’t know maybe just a coincidence…

I remember some of the discussions that we had when I was in High School that they
would be much too large and much too expensive for the average person to own. Seems
like the one I have today fits just fine in my pocket.

In the medical field technology has exploded! It is changing everyday!
We have out patient surgery today that we would have never dreamed of
having and going home in a few hours. We have non-evasive surgeries
with the use of robots that can do things more precise than a human!

Oh I can’t for get the Television. Black and White Rabbit Ears and tin foil
to get 3 Channels! Now I think we have 300 Channels and nothing good to
watch at times! flat Screen and living color! Who needs 3-D Glasses?!

I better quit before this gets too long and I won’t even want to read
it. LOL

I had FUN! This was just off the top of my head today and I hope you
have as much fun reading this as I did writing it!

Blogging 101

Ah! Blogging 101

A look into what a Blog is and getting some back
ground in understanding the terms and tools that
you need that make your Blog work.

Blogging 101 is mostly about the blogging
vocabulary. To understand blogs, you need to know
the terms blog, platform, domain, and web host.
Once you have mastered these key elements of
blogging, you can enter any conversation about
blogging with confidence. After you know what
exactly a blog is, you will be on your way to
passing the final exam of blogging 101.

Blog is short for weblog, which simply means a
series of online posts presented in reverse
chronological order. That’s all! Most blogs are text,
but there are also photo blogs and video blogs. The
rest of blogging 101 has to do with the technical
side of things.

If you are setting up a blog, you will
need a platform, a web host, and a domain. A
blogging platform is a computer software program
that allows you to write posts and to update your
blog. Your platform is also what you use to design
the look of your blog, from color scheme to font
size.

The web host is sort of like the virtual file
cabinet where your blog is stored. Your computer
communicates with the host when you upload or
edit a post.

The domain is the online address of
your blog, and usually ends in ‘dot com’. Now that
you know what a blog is, what a platform is, and
what domains and hosts are, congratulate yourself!

You have passed blogging 101!

Something New in Blogging

Something New in Blogging

Seems like Microsoft has come out with a Blogging Platform that people seem to like it is called the ASP.Net Blogging Software. Blogengine.net works with the Windows Operating System. Here is more Info.. I found it to be interesting and educational.   Of all of the different kinds of programs on the market today, many people feel that Microsoft's recently released ASP.NET blogging software is the most advanced. In many ways, this particular program is more adaptable and more versatile than any other blogging software on the market. Although most of the people who favor the program are accomplished coders who are familiar with programming languages like html and C++, this new program from Microsoft is much easier to use than a lot of other blog design software that incorporates hands-on coding. One of the things that makes ASP.NET stand apart from its competitors is the fact that it allows designers to use a wide variety of programming languages when they build a blog. This means that a larger number of coders can realize their dreams by programming in the language with which they are most familiar and in which they are most accomplished. Here is the link if you want to look at it: Web Blogs   A lot of people have welcomed ASP.NET blogging software with enthusiasm and with open arms. However, that doesn't mean that the ASP.NET program is right for everybody. If you are not familiar with computer languages like javascript or perl, you may find that the release of ASP.NET does not directly affect you at all.   However, if you are an experienced web designer, you are likely to find much to celebrate in this exciting new program. Here you can download BlogEngine.Net: Blogengine.Net Install

Why the Heck Do I Blog?

Good Question….

I like it! It is FUN!

I use a Blog for many different reasons one of them is so people get to know me better.

A second reason is to keep people informed and Blogging is one of the best ways to
contact a large amount of people to hear what you have to tell them.

The more people I reach and get to know the better it is for me and for my business!

For the next few days I will be sharing what I know about a Blog and maybe help someone
who is just beginning or is thinking about Blogging.

Sorry I am not an expert.

What is a Blog? Many people ask this question…

Here is some back ground info for every one…

The Definition of Blogging

The definition of blogging is something that is very
much in flux, as the new technologies that appear every
day redefine what a blog is, what a blog can be, and
what a blog should do. For many years, blogs were
defined as text-based websites that kept records of days,
similar to a captain’s log on a sailing ship.

However, this started to change as the group of people
who kept blogs became more diverse. The more bloggers
began to explore the limits of the medium and of the
technology that made it possible, the more the
boundaries of what could be called a “blog” expanded.

Today, there are an abundance of photo blogs, and there
are even video blogs as well.  Mobile blogging devices
may well change the definition of blogging entirely by
making it possible for bloggers to create new kinds of
posts.

Another element of the blogosphere that is
starting to redefine blogging is the corporate blog. As
more companies hire writers to keep blogs with the sole
purpose of creating positive buzz about their brand,
bloggers across the globe are arguing about whether
these manufactured blogs are really worthy of the name.

Between all of these different forces that are constantly
expanding and reshaping the blogosphere, it is difficult
to imagine that the definition of what is and is not a
blog will ever remain fixed for very long.

..And here you thought a Blog was a Techy Thing LOL!

That’s all for today!

A Favorite TV Show

I was try to think about what I could write about for my first post on my new Blog.
I thought about it and said well lets talk about one of my Favorite TV Shows,

“The Curse of Oak Island” that is shown on the History Channel.

The show caught my interest and was intriguing to me. I have wondered what could make humans keep looking for a Treasure for over 200 Years! Six People have lost their lives trying to find the treasure!
I became really interested in the events and the history behind the story it self.
There are books written about it and one of them I read:“Freemasons at Oak Island” Speculation about a real National Treasure Site

Intriguing and interesting to say the least.

There is also a new book being published written by Randall Sullivan he is the author that wrote
one of the first modern day articles about Oak Island in the 1960’s in Rolling Stone Magazine.

The book is titled “The Curse of Oak Island” is set to be released in July 2017.

If you are interested you can pre-order it on Amazon.

I really don’t watch that much television. When there is a show that
I get interested in there must be some thing special!
